Small-batch ales. River views. No shortcuts — just honest grain, water, and time.
Astoria Brewing didn't start with a business plan — it started with a question nobody else in town was asking: what if we actually took this seriously?
Located along the industrial edge of the Columbia River, our brewhouse is a working one. Every batch is brewed in-house, every recipe refined through trial, error, and a lot of tasting. We source malt from Pacific Northwest mills, hop from orchards within a few hours' drive, and water the way it comes out of the ground.
The result is beer that tastes like this place — salt air, old-growth forest, and river fog rolled into every pour.
Rotating selections change with the seasons. This is what we're proud of right now.
Crisp, citrusy, and dangerously sessionable. Cascade and Centennial hops lift a biscuit malt backbone.
West Coast IPA with a Pacific Northwest twist — Steller's sea rose adds a briny, botanical finish that's all our own.
Dark, smooth, and layered with roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and a whisper of vanilla. Named after the old net-mending wharves.
Clean, bready, and impossibly drinkable. A German-style helles brewed with Pacific Northwest water and Hallertau hops.
Aged in oak with actual cedar boughs from the coastal range. Resinous, complex, and built for slow sipping by the fire.
Unfiltered, hazy, and bright with notes of pear, clove, and citrus. A refreshing nod to the tidal flats outside our door.
High ceilings, exposed brick, and a bar carved from reclaimed Douglas fir. The brewing equipment is on display — you can watch the kettle boil while you wait for your pour.
The patio faces east, which means morning light in the warmer months and golden hour that lasts forever. There's a fire pit out back for colder nights.
